Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Today was my first day at summer camp! I had a lot of fun. I had to wake up very early. My dad dropped me off at the park and I met my counselor. Her name was Jamie. There were nine other people in my group.

The first thing that we did was go on a nature hike. The hike was long. We walked through the entire park. I saw two squirrels and a rabbit. I was afraid that I was going to see a snake. It was hot and I got a lot of bug bites.

After the hike, we had arts and crafts. I made a bookmark to take home with me. I colored it blue and used a lot of glitter.

After arts and crafts, we played my favorite game! The game was called “Cops and Robbers”. We divided ourselves into two groups. One group had to get away as far as possible when the other team is blindfolded. The robbers had around 20 seconds before the cops could open ther eyes. I was a robber. I ran to the depth of the forest. My opponents had to touch the robbers’ body surface. We set a half-an-hour timer. We played along the afternoon. The cops won. But I was just so happy that day that I didn’t even care about who won.

We had some free time after the game. I spent it by fishing with my friends. I was afraid that I wouldn’t catch a single fish. But amazingly, out of nowhere, my rod was shook by a fish. It was a salmon. I was so happy until I found out that my friends had already caught many. They told me that I wasn’t patient enough. I could have caught more fish than I had.

After fishing, we had a campfire. We sang songs, made poems and even studied. It lasts about 2 hours. We went to an inn and took a rest there. I had so much fun in that summer camp. It was, so far, the best one.

Summer Camp

After arts and crafts, we played my favorite game! On the second day, we played soccer. It was so funny. The most of the girl didn’t know how to play, but I thought we enjoyed very much. In the end of the day we swam at the lake and at night everybody was so tired.

During all the summer camp we did many different things. I met many friends. Summer camp in my opinion was the best thing that happened on my vacation, I love it.

          After arts and crafts, we played my favorite game! We played soccer! It was so funny. Even though most of the girls didn’t know how to play soccer, we enjoyed the game. After the game, we were told to clean ourselves up and get ready to swim on the nearby lake. The lake was very clean. We really enjoyed this part of activity. When we were done, everyone was very tired. We set up our camps and the our campfire then we ate. We shared our horror stories. I had the most frightening story, everyone was scared when they listened to my story. By the time it was 10.00 PM, our counselor  told us to go to sleep. The next day we went home. It was a very fun experience at summer camp, i really enjoyed it.
